hey y’all! This is my first weekend after working a week at my new job. I had a busy one! Saturday morning I went to go see a house for David and I to rent. It was Perfect!! Had everything we could want in a place and under our budget price. Fireplace, garden, balcony, terrace , garage, place for my pole, enough bedrooms. Beautiful bathrooms and stone work. Please keep your fingers crossed for us! After that I came home and was supposed to have a coffee date but it got canceled. So I went grocery shopping and did some cleaning .

Today Sunday I have 2 hours of pole practice scheduled and then band practice tonight before I go back to David’s place. To clear things up a little bit I stay during the week now with David since that’s where my new job is and spend the weekend at my place until we can move out. I’m really excited for us all to live together and really start our lives .

2 days of work under my belt at my new place and I’m already feeling good there! I’ve made a handful of new friends, play uno at lunch and am enjoying my work.
I labeled this how I did because I was thinking yesterday about how the girls who are super comfortable there after being there so long are also quite quick . No big surprise there, but I’ve been pretty good at keeping up with them. It made me realize we share the same quality of work and ethics as each other.

I feel so lucky both David and I have jobs we can enjoy. Work we can be proud of. That is something not everyone has and knowing it makes me feel some kind of way. I hope all y’all can experience this at some point in your life time. ❤️

I’m Caitlin. Thanks for joining my boyfriend David and I into our first blogging journey. I thought to start out with I’d introduce myself a little bit.

I’m 40, a mom of two teenagers. A son and daughter. I’m a baker and I’d love to eventually have my own shop. But for now I am happy to be working for a bakery in beautiful Switzerland. I’ve been living here since 2018 and am happy to call it home now though I do miss my home state of Virginia in USA.

When I’m not working I enjoy obviously time with my boyfriend who is the light of my life, I am discovering sharing my voice through poetry I write, and have begun exploring exercise through pole dance.

I love Christmas, family and desserts. I can’t wait to start sharing things with you and building a special bond with you as my blog readers ❤️
